Specifications for ordinary quality carbon steel rod are regulated by DSTU 2770-94 (GOST 30136-95) (also corresponds to the international standard ISO 8457/1-89). This standard applies to ordinary quality carbon steel rod intended for wire drawing and other purposes.

 

Wire rod is produced with the following values of diameter dimensions
-5,0; 5,5; 6,0; 6,3; 6,5; 7,0; 8,0 and 9,0 mm

 

Diameters of wire rod, limit deviations in diameter, cross-sectional area and weight of one meter of length must comply with GOST 2590.
