Metal chains are closed profiles (contours) consisting of identical, interconnected links.
Production of chains is a complex process that requires coordinated work of many narrowly focused specialists.
For manufacturing of chains we use round low-carbon cold-drawn light-colored steel wire GOST 3282-74. The wire is cut into rods of a certain length, which are bent and joined by welding.
For links of welded round link chains are unacceptable: non-welding, destruction of the integrity of the links or the presence of tears, cracks on their surface. Our chains are not subject to mandatory certification, which is confirmed by the Conclusion of the Certification Agency “VES” UKREXPERTISE” LLC.

Technical specification for long-link welded chains for general purpose
- General purpose long-link chains are made of general purpose low carbon steel wire in accordance with GOST 3282-74.

The parameters of welded links such as gauge (d) and pitch (t) are used to name household metal non-calibrated round link chains. For example, if the chain size 5*35mm is specified, it means that the link for this chain is made of 5mm thick wire, and the link pitch is 35mm. The length of the link of such a chain is 45mm (step + 2 caliber).
LLC “Ukrmetizmetal” produces chains of caliber from 3mm to 8mm.
Chains are also characterized by their link length. Thus, at the same caliber, chains with long links (long links) and short links (short links) are produced. For example, the above 5*35mm chain is a long link chain and 5*21mm is a short link chain.
At the customer’s request or in case of operational necessity, the finished chain can be zinc-coated by cold galvanizing, which protects the chain from the destructive effects of the environment (corrosion) and gives the product a better marketable appearance.
Our chains of all calibers with long and short links, with and without zinc coating, are packed in polypropylene bags or wound on metal coils in one piece from 20 to 100m depending on the caliber of the chain and the weight of the coil with the chain (approximately 20kg).
