Galvanized wire of normal precision, 1 class of coating, made of steel ST1KP.
Galvanized wire is produced on hot-dip galvanizing units, which makes it possible to produce wire with a shiny surface.
On the Ukrainian market there are not many wires with such quality of zinc surface.
Heat-treated galvanized wire (OH galvanized)
Heat-treated (hard) galvanized wire is produced in diameters from 1.4 to 5.0 mm.
Heat-treated (hard) galvanized wire is used:
- when making bucket handles;
- as trellises (for vineyards);
- for fencing (Rabitsa mesh, welded mesh). Welded uncoated and galvanized metal nets in the web are designed for fencing of territories.
Also used as reinforcing material for facade works with additional requirements for corrosion resistance. Manufactured from low carbon wire with rectangular or square cells.
The main benefits of wire:
- The shiny surface of the wire. Products made of such wire have an attractive appearance
- The rosette, rosette-sandwich winding is convenient for further processing (easy to unwind)
Heat-treated galvanized wire (galvanized wire t/o)
Low-carbon heat-treated galvanized wire (soft) with a tensile strength of 340-550 N/mm² is produced in hot-dip galvanizing furnaces.
Heat-treated galvanized wire is produced with diameter from 0.8 to 1.4 mm in Rosetta type coils weighing from 100 to 300 kg, with diameter from 1.5 to 5.0 mm in Rosetta Sandwich type coils weighing 700-850 kg.
Individual packaging of skeins in polypropylene sleeve or other types of packaging (polyethylene, sacking, polypropylene) is possible.
Galvanized soft wire is used:
- in the production of various products (Christmas trees, wreaths),
- for the production of muselets. A muselet is a wire product, a wire bridle that holds the cork of sparkling and fizzy wines. Muzzle is put on the bottle with the help of a special machine and fixed under the crown of the bottle neck by semi-mechanized machines, semi-automatic or automatic machines,
- for the production of gabion structures. Gabion mesh products are box-shaped structures made of galvanized steel hexagonal mesh of double twist with zinc and polymer coating. They are used to reinforce slopes, embankments, slopes, banks of reservoirs, ravines, in the construction of drainage regulation and erosion control structures, in landscaping works.
